This is my first ever blog post! It is also the first online edition of an ongoing conversation between the youth, leaders, parents, and parishioners of All Saints Episcopal Church in Hanover, PA. J2A brings youth into Christian community to learn how to live meaningful lives.
The fundamental precept of the program is that "Manhood and womanhood is a gift from God but adulthood is earned." Earning adulthood is, of course, an ongoing process that never ends.
From time to time, I will post "general" information about the program like this initial blog introduction. Other "general" entries will tell about the program and how it works. Search "general" to pull up these pieces. Since I am new to blogging and many of you may be as well, I will add future posts that explain how you can use the blog to stay in touch. But, right now, the urgent need is to get our activity schedule up where it can be seen by youth, their parents and the leaders. Schedule posts will always be searched under the label "schedule".
